Cal was able to effectively demonstrate how easy it is to build a basic API with Silex. It was great seeing Composer being discussed as well as RESTful API techniques.
A talk with a (somewhat) real world example and live coding. Nice talk showing a bit more detail into using Silex that's beyond using index.php to hold all your controllers.

I loved this talk and I will definitely try to build a restish API with Silex one day!
Only problem I had was that Cal spoke way too loud for a very small room, sitting in front, it was actually at a slightly uncomfortable level.
