Great talk on rolling your own encryption. Speaker did a good job on a tough subject and I was able to take away a lot of good info about encryption with PHP. The code samples were easy to follow and I walked away feeling like I understood the shared key encryption scheme he described.
An excellent talk on encryption and how to properly implement it by a speaker who clearly knows his subject inside and out.
Not only is Ed clearly an expert on the subject, but he has the gift of making a very technical topic light and enjoyable to learn about. There were many laughs from myself and others along the way.

This was a bit over my head, but I did learn some valuable lessons. Those that did grasp what Ed was presenting were very engaged.
