Alan provided a well organized, compelling case for choosing to develop php apps on the IBM i platform with Zend server. Yes you can build great forms on top of green screens using php - and other great things. I suggest you check out his slides and consider php on the IBM i. As an added bonus, I got a valuable lesson in movement awareness that relaxes your neck and shoulder muscles (a Feldenkrais method).
