Thank you Gary for this tutorial. This was a good refreshing view on the state of Zend Framework and how you should be using it. During the tutorial you gave me the right tools and lots of energy to start the refactoring of an application that exactly has the issues you were showing.
The section about the views is something I'd reconsider for a next time though, that lowered the quality level of the tutorial a bit in my opinion.
