Our increasingly connected world, along with the promises of Big Data and Cloud Computing, offers us multitudes of opportunities to model the world and build powerful technology to improve not only the companies we work for but the lives of many. Yet far too often we, as engineers, focus on providing a solution to the problem at hand and overlook the problems that the solution itself might cause. In this talk, I examine some of the issues our world throws up, and asks what it takes to engineer ethically.

Fun talk, makes you think twice about your systems.
Was interested all the time.
Interesting talk about the possible ethical dilemmas you can encounter during developing. Still not sure whether is I would delete the source code (Thought experiment #2)
Ethics and morality are a topic of interest to me. It was well thought out and I could relate to the contents of the talk very much. A talented speaker as well.
Chris is a great orator. This talk was very well delivered and reminded us of the importance of the ethics in our line or work.

I enjoyed this talk. The topic is highly-underrated and you are a great presenter. I sat in both your talks, and I feel as though this one was by far the better talk.
I think there were a few things which didn't go over as well as they could (like the avo toast reference), but it was generally satisfying. I also think that you could expand the talk in the direction of the moral implications of doing a professional job. I sent you a link for the presentation Uncle Bob did a couple weeks before, and he focussed entirely on that aspect (ignoring the aspect you spoke about almost entirely). I think the talk would be tons better by combining the two aspects...
