MySQL 5.7 is two years old and adoption is growing. The new JSON Data Type shines away as the most talked feature in this version. But they are by no means the only awesome things this it has to offer. Learn how to manipulate JSON fields and how Generated Columns can help you index data and much more with real life examples.

Very good talk. Nice voice and clear explanations. So nice to see good demo's and clearly showing in which version things work or don't work. Can't wait to start using MySql 8.0.
Tip: If something makes you laugh as a speaker, tell the people why. ;-)

Great talk

The most useful talk in the conference, for me. This is the sort of talk I was expecting before I came: well explained, useful examples, straight to the point. Opinionated without being annoying.

Great and informative talk.

It's wonderful to see you grow as a speaker over the past few years :)

Great talk, excellent mix of general information, technical details and opinions. Good performance.

I loved this talk. It's a good mix of technical things and the reasons _why_ we need them. It starts off fast so I felt a little lost in the first few minutes, but everything falls into place after that. Live demo was also executed to perfection, well done!

Nice talk, and a good addition to the talk of the previous day. The presentation was a bit better than the Mysql 8 talk. All in all, fglad I saw it :)

You can see how well you know this subject as you started writing queries without needed to take a look at Stack Overflow.
The content was well organized and structured. I really like that as well.

Excellent talk. The live examples were concise and executed perfectly. The information was very useful and I learned a couple of new things. It was easy to follow the whole talk.
