jQuery, LESS, Sass, Compass, Grunt, Gulp, Angular: Just a small selection of tools that have entered our lives as developers. Some of them stuck around, and some of them disappeared, almost as quickly as they arrived. Magento 2 beckons a new era of development, perhaps more so on the front end than on the back end. But what technologies does it bring with it, and how much freedom do we have to disagree?

Over half an hour, we will look at what new technologies are going to play a part in our professional lives over the next few years, whether you’re slinging CSS, or serving up JSON. Alongside looking at what’s new, we’ll take a look at how we can leverage these things to make our sites both faster to build, as well as faster and safer once they’re online.

Good insights, very sensible appeals to Magento and to every single developer.

Great insights in the current state of Magento 2 frontend and where it could be improved. I'm a backend developer but it was still interesting and relevant for me.

It was the first time I was Max on stage. He's a good speaker and I really liked how he structured his talk and shared information about the state of frontend development.

Very well put together presentation. Great overview. I especially liked the part about security.

Very well presented and covered a range of topics.

Really enjoyed this presentation by Max. As a frontender we've had more than our share of headaches with Magento 2 but to get some insights into the future offers some needed light at the end of the tunnel.
