As APIs have become increasingly more important and popular in usage in the past few years in web development, it is important to understand the basics of what they are and why to use them. We'll be going over the basics: The What’s, Why’s, Where’s, and When’s. You'll learn the basics of REST APIs and we'll show you how you can use POSTMAN to test making REST API calls. By the end of this session, you’ll be able to go home and make REST calls on any API.

I was hoping for something more, even if it is marked a beginner class. Might I suggest giving an example of API developer documentation, the code that would make up the endpoint that is referenced in that documentation, how to create the request based on the documentation whether through PHP and POSTMAN examples or if time is limited, using only the POSTMAN example?
This should be for developers - you shouldn't have to explain how a GET Request works. To short.
