One main goal of great UX design is designing products that ANYONE can use. If you are not thinking about accessibility, then you’re not thinking about the full user experience. Accessibility makes it possible for people with disabilities to understand and navigate well designed products.

Great talk, and while there wasn't any specific PHP focus I came away with loads of things to think about!
I agree with the previous comment, not directly related to PHP, but a spot-on reality-check regarding accessibility issues and/or standards.
Lots of very useful information on the topic, with clear examples or issues and possible solutions, recommendations and suggestions of various tools that could and should be used to improve accessibility on the web.
The talk was delivered beautifully by Christiana, I only wish more talks at PHP UK have speakers of the same calibre!
A really interesting talk about UX, and why you should care about it.
I found the information provided by Christiana in this presentation really insightful, and made me consider how I design and implement interfaces in the future. Simple yet effective thoughts and suggestions really brought the underlying message alive, although a few more real-world examples of poor vs great accessible designs would have made this talk even better. Thanks! :)
