Many of us work with complex codebases that have some amount of technical debt. How do we clean up the code without breaking anything--while moving ahead with new features? What does the end goal look like, and how do we reach it?

The sound in the room was bad, but despite that, the speaker needed more energy. It felt like he was reading slides most of the time. Very high level information, maybe too high level.

The acoustics in the room didn't help the speaker (the mic should have been adjusted prior to the talk). However, the content was informative and the presentation itself was organized nicely.
