I love having tests. I hate writing them. It’s tedious. It’s boring. It’s hard, sometimes harder than writing the code. Worst of all, it doesn’t feel like it accomplishes anything. You cannot sell writing tests to developers who hate it or are new to the approach. Bombarding testing jargon is not gonna help. Let me show you how awesome tests can be written and let's deep dive into the testing approach step by step

A fun an interesting talk with a good live demo, about how to approach TDD to create the full stack of your application.

Good talk, with a successful live demo. A practical walkthrough, with several good tidbits to make it useful for the more experienced as well.

Great talk. I'm happy that Viraj attempted the live demo approach. I think it worked well and he was able to keep the audience engaged. I also really liked that he approached TDD from the perspective of integration tests and connected TDD techniques to a concrete and relatable example.

As someone who has had "try tdd" on my todo list for years now, this was a fantastic talk. I might actually even do it.

This was a great approach that connects the TDD process to more than just writing unit tests. Thank you. I particularly want to thank you for the gift from you and your girl friend. I have lived overseas myself, and understand how difficult (and thoughtful) an action you took. Your gesture of sincerity was touching. Her gift in support of you, coming halfway around the planet to share with us, was amazing. It is difficult to reach across cultures and make a connection. You succeeded.
