Should I translate my website? How do I do that? How do translators work? How do I work with translators? How do I make sure that the translations are correct? These questions and more will be the focus of this presentation. We'll look at CMSs in general and WordPress in particular. We'll look at PHP's gettext utilities and when (NOT) to use them.

Philipp gave an excellent talk that opened my eyes to the intricacies and importance of professional level translation and for how I can best prepare my content to be efficiently translated.
Helpful presentation. I would suggest beginning with the assumption that the audience understands the need and the audience for localization. The behind-the-scenes looks into the translator’s workflow were most unfamiliar to me, so thank you for including those.
Good high-level overview of the technical process of localization. The concept presented were informative on how to structure content and code to achieve better translations.
A good (and eye-opening) behind the scenes introduction to how translations are done including good best practices for how to organize and what to avoid.
