I wandered in towards the end of Joes talk. I wish I'd caught all of it! I'll def. check out his artisan talk.

Very good overall talk about ALL laravel things. Think you got most of the important stuff in there. I started working in Laravel in April this year and kept up with most of the things explained (related to coding).
If I would have been completly new to Laravel I think it would have been hard to keep up with the speed of which the information was given. It was hard to complete the exercises in time even though I knew what to do.
Good tips about coding and using Laravel in a smart way.

Good starter talk. Might have been better to focus on more presentation and less hands on or increase the session to four hours.

I would suggest having setup instructions posted before the session starts so attendees have time to verify their environment is working before the tutorial starts.

As someone who has never been exposed to laravel before I found it difficult to perform the hands on portion. The introduction to each section was very good, but I am not able to remember unfamiliar commands when it was my turn to run them. I would suggest having a handout or pdf reference.

The presentation portions were very good.
