I plan on implementing what I learned upon returning back home. I am happy to know there is some support out there for modular use of ZF. Your understanding of caching and explanation of the definite need for it to optimizing a site holds true regardless of whether it is ZF or not. Good job.
Good overall scaling concepts, but wasn't all that much about ZF. There were a few things that I disagreed with, but always good to have use cases from the real world.

please keep the introduction short and sweet.
I like the statistics slides, allows the user to benchmark what they are dealing with.
please talk more about best practices and ideas rather than just speaking of what you have implemented.
