PHP has evolved massively since its first days, and it's on the road to a full-featured language. However, at the same time, there is a lot of outdated information and libraries with poorly written code.

This talk is about writing PHP Code that is: safe, robust, and maintainable. We are going to cover a set of rules, that if you follow them; they will get you on the habit of writing code well.

Interesting presentation reminding about good practices. Also good to know about phpstan and php insights.

Interesting lecture on the defensive approach, really enjoyed it!

Nuno did a really good job explaining good practices of code and how his tool, PHP Insights can help you automate that.

Something that I think that Nuno can improve his presentation is the way that he speaks. For a couple of moments, I felt that I was in a videocast instead of a presentation. Trying to be more natural should help him with that.
