Interesting talk. Nice to see what we have available for threading in php.

You gave a funny introduction with the Ed guy, but it still felt like a deep dive. Also the "why should I care?" question could be addressed better in the beginning. Maybe use the introduction from this talk? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jg1AheF4n0

I really enjoyed the talk.
It was a clean technical overview of the definition and application of an under-used aspect of php. The analogies were strong and memorable. It was a narrow topic, but I feel now confident enough in threads to know where to begin. I also know what to look out for thanks to the tips and tricks you mentioned.
You are clearly knowledgeable in the topic but did not make me feel like an idiot.

I would definitely recommend this talk to anyone who wants a quick dive into threading in php.
