Each developer is, was or (most probably) will be a senior developer. Many seniors wonder about choosing the right career path - one can become a manager, an architect or an engineering expert - just to name a few options. There is a bunch of non-technical skills which are very helpful or even essential if one thinks about progressing their career in any of those paths.
For more than 3 years I have been helping senior developers shape their career plans and work on gaining knowledge, skills and experience they need to grow professionally. In my talk, I recommend skills which every ambitious senior engineer should gain and I give advice on how to learn them efficiently.

Great talk, covering a wide range of subjects without becoming a dry list. Also added a few interesting titles to my reading list.

Great speaker, great slides, very engaging talk.
I would have hope to hear a bit on how managers/leaders could help senior engineers evolve, what could be the strategies as well as the pitfalls to avoid.
But the advices directly at senior developers were really good and relevant.

Good attempt at trying to define 'senior developer'. I feel like I now have a much better idea of what it means or should mean.
I did expect a little bit more depth but like it as explained in the talk that's just not possible with such a broad subject. nonetheless very insightful

Nice that you didn't go to deep into specific subjects, but instead offered links to other presentations/books. This way you could cover a lot of information.
