Compared to PHP, Elixir is a new kid on the block, but it has some
unique properties that make it well suited for web applications. In
this talk, Arjan Scherpenisse shows Phoenix, the web framework written
in Elixir, and how it can be used to create realtime collaborative web
applications. Finally, he shows how easy it is to have PHP and Elixir
interoperate.

Job well done! It's always good to take a peak at other languages and, although I don't know the language, I think you highlighted a few very interesting features, especially the green threads.

Some points for improvement: work a little on your slide deck to make sure you don't have to go back and forth, also use presentation mode so you can see on your own screen what slide is up next.
You have a relaxed style standing in front of a crowd, keep using it. Somewhere in the middle you lost that a little, my guess would be because you sort of lost the thread of where you were, just like with the slides at the beginning. Easiest way to prevent is simply more practice :)

I enjoyed it and will definitely have a look into Elixir, thanks!
