I didn't expect this to be a talk about 1 specific use case. But luckily it was a good one.
Larry is a good speaker and an all-round admirable community guy. It was nice to see how you can keep Drupal for content management, but use more powerful alternatives as the API layer.
I'll probably advise this kind of setup to a couple of clients in the future.
I personally love Silex & ElasticSearch and it is nice to see that others use it as well.
