Good content delivered a little too quickly. Would have liked to see a few moments when delivering very technical slides to take notes. Clearly knows his content.

contained some useful links for vagrant box building and taught me a few new vagrant tricks, so useful.

The title of the talk was a bit misleading however - "vagrant for php revs" might have been more accurate.

A lot of content provided very quickly,. Gives me pointers of what to read up on after the talk. Will need to refer back to slides because a lot of the content flashed passed.

Good talk, maybe spoke a little fast. Talking about other tools other than Vagrant would make the talk more varied.

Could have been better if this had been more focused (pick chef or puppet, not both) and done a bit more slowly/in detail. However a good talk from someone who clearly knows the topic.

A very good talk. I wasn't expecting it to go so vagrant specific from the title.

But the vagrant elements were presented well and suitably generalised to cover some of the main options which perhaps tie in to the vagrant talk in the next period.

You did talk a little fast but it wasn't a problem for me. You clearly know the subject material and that came across in your enthusiasm.

Clearly talking from experience there was a lot to get through in a short amount of time, although as others have said the talking was a little too fast.
I was unsure at first where this talk was going - I didn't realise people still used Windows on development machines, but I can certainly now see the advantages.

Lots of information in this talk and even though I was familiar with the topic I still took something away. I agree with some of the other reviews in that I would liked to have seen something other that chef+vagrant in there - maybe a little on cloud-based IDEs. Overall a good talk with a nice easy delivery.

next time, maybe be more general - like talk about vagrant and its usefulness and how its developed/is developing - and then talk about something from vagrant - like the multi-machine - in depth.

Excellent talk delivery. Very good content and lots of indepth information for people to take away. Good diversity of options for people such as (vmware vs vbox) and (puppet vs chef).

A great talk on a subject that I think a lot of us are increasingly finding more and more important to know about

I really enjoyed the introduction section, but found it hard going following everything. But that was perhaps because I came into the talk knowing nothing at all about development environments such as puppet and Vagrant, and some kind of knowledge may be assumed

But at least, I came out learning how to set up Vagrant - so as far as I'm concerned, the talk taught me exactly what I wished it would do!

Speaking speed a little fast, and possibly slightly too much content for a 50 minute talk, but this was quite useful and I can see that the speaker knows A LOT about the subject.

How I would improve this talk would be to slow down the delivery and perhaps chop some of it out. For example, cover just one of Puppet or Chef.

A good and very basic introduction into Vagrant. At times it felt like someone was reading out a tutorial to me but content wise everything was fine.

It's hard to avoid but it seems that every vagrant introduction talk suffers from this "let's talk about Chef AND Puppet instead of focusing on the process and why it's important to define everything" syndrome.

The content was very solid and presented well.

I found talk this quite interesting, and I'll definitely be looking to incorporate this into my workflow. However, as this was an introduction, I would have prefered more time spent on Vagrant over Chef.
