Blockchain is quickly becoming the buzzword of the year, but people tend to only link it to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. But let’s take a look at some other real world problems we can solve with this technology. In this talk we will take a look at how this technology works and delve into some examples for countering blood diamonds and updating passports.

I came to this talk with the idea to learn how to implement Blockchain within business operations.
Frederick gave a perfect introduction to Blockchain, brought in a way so non-technical people can understand the contents of the talk.
Even though the talk lacked the technical aspect, I really enjoyed the talk and got some great ideas from it.
Frederick has given this talk in a nice paced way, giving clear examples on his slides. I’m looking forward seeing more talks of him.
