You might have heard of Domain Driven Design. You may have heard DDD is a tool to write readable and change-ready code. You may have even heard DDD comes with a lot of talking, and modelling, and customers...
Starting with DDD sounds big, and scary, doesn't it?
But getting started is not scary! Come find out what DDD can do for your code, tomorrow. We'll use value objects, entities and services to bring order to our mind and code. We'll see how naming things can guide us, but also trick us. We'll rework a piece of code together and improve what it means. And tomorrow you can tell your peers that, technically, you're doing DDD.

Great talk, entertaining and easy to understand.
Good talk Pim, thanks very much. I jumped out of another talk for various reasons so I did not catch all unfortunately, I hope to see the full talk sometime soon. You speak very clearly, gamified your talk and have a good sense of humor mixed in, great stuff!

Very clear and entertaining talk. I particularly like how you had meaningful interaction with the audience. The way you mix in humourous interaction with the audience really distinguishes you from other speakers. Keep up the good work!
My favorite talk of day one! Filled with humour, theory, and lots of examples of applying DDD that was good to follow for someone not familiar with the concepts yet. Pim is a great speaker that gets the crowd involved, but stays in control and on topic.
As someone who already knows the technical details about DDD, I've attended this talk to see and hear why is everyone praising Pim for this talk. And sure enough, the praise is well deserved. I haven't seen such charisma on stage in a very long time. While the talk doesn't go really deep, the two case studies in the end are really nicely done.
Nice intro to DDD in a really pragmatic way! Well presented, nice humour, great audience interaction.
