I have mixed feelings about the talk. The quiz format, while definitely engaging the audience, was a bit wasted time in my opinion. Why don't just go on and explain those tricky comparisons?
And then, some of the mentioned PHP functions are so dangerous (unintuitive result, different behaviours in different PHP versions) that the only good suggestion is "don't use them".
So I did not took away very much from it. Of course the talk was marked as "beginner" so it's probably a bit of my fault.
Very fun lecture, different from all the rest. However, I think the time could have been better organized, I had a feeling that a lot of time has been wasted.
This was probably one of the best surprises on phpday this year.
