After a successful first event (http://conf2012.web-5.org) we decided to go for another round of expert talks and fun in the south of France! This year's conference website is http://conf2013.web-5.org

We are looking for the Web-5 Conference 2013 Speakers! Do not hesitate to propose talks. Your experience as a speaker does not matter, your topic does! The Call for Paper closes the 3rd February 2013 You will be notified of the results around the 10th February 2013 Talk duration : ~ 45 minutes Date of the conference : the 14th and 15th of June.

Our first event (http://conf2012.web-5.org) that took place last year was a great success.
We’ve been supported by some of the companies that makes the development world move forward like IBM, Mozilla, Zenexity, Wakanda, GitHub... We managed to bring about 120 people in a little town called Béziers (in the south west of France, near the Mediterranean sea), from about 16 different countries!

The conference’ sessions went for 3 days : 2.5 days of talks and half a day of workshop.

We had about 22 speakers for about 20 hours of expert level content talks. Among them, people like Robert Nyman and Sam Foster from the Mozilla Foundation, Christophe Jolif and Patrick Ruzand from IBM, Philip Tellis (ex) Yahoo, Dylan Schiemann co-founder of the Dojo Toolkit, Michal Budzinsky from World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and now Mozilla Foundation, and many more!

This time we would be proposing a two track format, on 2 days. One track for the front-end and one for the back-end technologies (hosting, databases, php, node.js, python, ruby, java, etc.).
