Very nice session about GIT. He was very good delivering and adapting to question of the audience.

Decent presentation. I liked the way he engagged the audience for discussion and I enjoyed the topic

Bruce gave a great talk that helped to demystify the complexity of purchasing hardware. In particular, the explanation of how RDBMs' durability requirement affect the disk layer was enlightening. The talk also made clear the pros and cons of deploying SSDs with your database servers.

This was a fantastically pragmatic talk that clearly, by example, outlined strategies for modernizing and cleaning up all the terrible code you could be handed. Stefan is a great speaker, engaging and present, who obviously has the experience to back up his advice.

I definitely got value from the story you told about revamping your process to integrate rapid prototyping – I love learning about process improvements – though I think you could go into more detail for each step.

In particular I would love to see some examples of stuff that was produced at each stage of the process (sketches, lists, personas, code, gray-box prototypes?), to make the story more concrete. I appreciated being able to see the demo project at the end of your talk, but I think that would be even more valuable if accompanied by some more context such as in-progress work.

Listing out the shortcomings of static wireframes and prototypes at the beginning was useful; I agreed on most points but hadn't thought about it in quite that way before.

Definitely enjoyed the talk. She's a great speaker. I only wish her talks were longer.
