A few good points from a perspective which was probably common for a lot of folks in the audience (paradigm shift from OO). I've also appreciated the genuine speaker's tips and ideas.
Loved the comparison w/ others solutions/environments (esp. Erlang), so to really place Node.js in its proper context from the beginning of the conference. Catchy bumble bee metaphor. As for stage presence, other people said it all already; speaker's skills just need no further appraisal. Bravo!
I liked the clear outline statement at the beginning, which made it easier (and more interesting) to follow the rest of the presentation. Also comparisons between different implementations have been helpful. Good job, Oleg!
A lot of beautiful code, many "for real" details, all peppered with revealing insights and a clear explanation of the big picture behind node. best of the conference
perfect example of how a great company should be.
great as usual
the sting of the bumble bee
Great talk.
And Forward looks like a very interesting and attractive company.
Super how they jumped in NodeJS.
Great talk!
Great talk. Guys explained well their context, issues, approach and (evolved) architecture. Made me want to dig deeper into Node.JS ...and their (github) stuff too.
