Based on the description, I thought I'd learn more than I did. Still, a well designed and presented talk.
Well done. Speaker explained a lot of places that would trip up novices. Could have done a better job helping people keep up with a list of actions on a screen.
The talk was primarily an introduction to the ELK stack. Writing the plugin was a small portion of the presentation.
This was a high-level business focused talk and IMO inappropriate for the audience. I would have appreciated a far more detailed look at some of the topics that were simply glossed over.
There was no "how" in this talk. It was a very high level overview of what machine learning was and some of the theory. An application was non-existent.
I learned something and the speaker was engaging. The talk was worth attending.
Speaker had good content, source code, and ideas. Talk was useful.
Lots of great information for folks who want to plug in and support diversity work but don't know where to start or what's out there. Plus some good news on progress that's been made in the last few years!
Real talk on a tough topic! The speaker bolstered her how-to's with plenty of data on why we all need to get better at negotiating.
This was a complete business fluff presentation.
