Love every talk by Kuba - practical and down-to-earth workshoppy talk with interesting tips and tricks sprinkled on.
A really great talk, lots of valuable information and very well presented. Alot of practical examples helped me visualise how I could be including these things into projects I am working on today!
Great talk and really useful takeaways, thank you. I liked how you were prepared to say I don't know when asked questions you didn't know the answer to, it gave even more weight to the answers and advice that you did give
We know we should be using PHP7, but it can be difficult to quantify the reasons - Lorna's talk was great at giving solid reasons for migrating, and explaining how some of the new features work.
Although I missed the first few minutes of the talk, I still found it very engaging and informative.
Some really good pointers about mentors and menttees. Having recently started being mentored I was able to relate to most of the points made.
I really enjoyed the talk. Made it sound (almost) simple!
Having study AI ( a long time ago) I know it can be a very challenging topic.
May have to invite you over to PHPMinds ;)
Spoke very fast, but loads of useful information here, ranging from basic to stuff that's well beyond me. Practical examples would have been helpful though, as it was a bit theoretical and lacked evidence.
Great talk considering it was the first time its been delivered. Very informative provided good insight to dealing with legacy code and the issues with refactoring.
