A talk that I wasn't expecting, and one I really liked, especially as a fellow father of a girl.
Very clear and informative. James explained the basics of a compiler in a very concise and easy to understand way.

Interesting talk on a subject I have never considered. The example used was not very clear and in part appeared to be not very fit for the problem (the parallel tasks were not equally divided) and the final result in execution time did not seem very different from the single execution. Still a good idea to try in practice.
Very nice talk on an important topic. Very good overview, clear presentation, understandably not very deep since it was a short 30 min slot.
