I NOW understand the importance of vagrant and puppet AND feel more confident in giving it a go.
Will you be publishing your notes?
Thanks, Marcus! :-)
Covering all the key elements of how to get the best out of developer conferences, with plenty of mentions of free booze... but great to give newcomers to the conference scene an understanding of what to expect and how to get the most from the event... even a few tips for the more experienced conference goers (particularly liked the example of the ferry across to phpne13 as a group event)
Very inspiring talk! Well prepared and well given by two top notch speakers. I really liked the original experimental two room split experience. It went pretty well and smooth. Just a small remark about Ivo walking everytime on the stage back and forth. It makes you a bit more difficult to follow and listen to at some point. Thanks again to both speakers and organization team for this great keynote.
Fab talk, loved the split screen.
Nice! The split room worked out well and the talk was really inspiring! Time to find those new people and figure out my #linktuesday link... ;-)
Was a really great tutorial, although beginning setup was a little confusing, when actually the guy was really well prepared. I thought the coding example was really good went very smoothly and I'm hoping to use the info to get Symfony into my legacy code!
Thanks
As inspiring as keynotes come. Good kickoff, and kudos for the venue's tech staff for the split rooms.
Second time in a row attending PHPNW as a speaker and I love the way the event starts with the hackathon and social. Although I arrived a bit late from Paris, I really enjoyed seeing all my international friends again and share on tech things. Super great time and fun atmosphere with music and video games!
Great talk to get a conference started
Two enthusiastic speakers, and the two-room experiment worked pretty well for a keynote speech. Plenty of good material to give thought. Shame about the lack of kittens though, a frog doesn't really have the same effect (despite its being a cute frog)... thank goodness for http://www.emergencykitten.com/kitten/7f33e8de
