Great talk that was clearly and confidently delivered. The different methods of analysis to display risks and highlight areas that can be mitigated was very interesting, amongst other things. A lot of useful points taken away from this talk.

The humour in this talk gave it an edge that meant the content didn't feel dry when at times it was about underlying technical aspects of MySQL.

Loved it! Some great takeaways and things to check myself now!

Great talk about hadoop. Nice demos. And thank you for phresto library.

My favourite talk of the conference.

Pacing was just right (despite the issues at the start with the AV equipment of the room, no fault of Davids) - the content was a great taster of things to take away and research further. Lots of great material, studies, books and sources were cited to give background on the points made.

David is a confident, clear and thoughtful speaker.

Loved this talk - as a user of Symfony flex myself it was very well covered - you could really see the 'wow' factor from the tool in this talk, and was in depth enough to answer question on how it worked without getting caught up in unnecessary details that you don't have time for in a short talk.

Renato is also a confident and charismatic speaker too.

While some complex topics such as Dead Code Elimination were covered, the style, pacing and slides made it very easy to grasp some of the new features in PHP 7.2 and even 7.3.

A great way to kick off the conference!

Fantastic keynote talk, only negative I have for this is that it just felt too short.

Would love to see this again, with some more content to it. Absolutely loved the slides for it.

Informative recapitulation of what are the differences between db engines.

Loved the free bar but felt that the atmosphere was lacking compared to previous years.

Good talk, a bit of interesting history and most importantly new features in PHP 7.2 and 7.3
Good to know that PHP is still improving.
Interesting info about Phan, JIT and Vespa.
Just one thing could be improved: There could be more about how we developers can help to improve PHP, and less how we developers write bad code.
