This was a good course for someone new to PHP and sec. I unfortunately had to leave class after lunch to deal with a work emergency. I wish I could have stayed for the entire class.

The talk went great. A lot of the conceptual and theory items were only slightly different than what I understand, and it was nice to see what I was comfortable with redone in php. The only issues I had were what I expected in differences in experience levels. I benefitted a great deal both from the class, and from Mr. Smith's abundant patience and insight.

Very well named presentation. Great overview of building a Laravel 5 application from the ground up, including changes in file structure, form requests, and new artisan commands.
