Good content and walkthrough first a beginner with composer. My only suggestions would be have the slides available at the beginning and possible slow down a little during live code portions.
I’ve heard a ton about OpenAPI but hadn’t really had a chance to dig into it. This was a fantastic introduction.
I would really like to learn more about the middleware portion because I feel like that’s where it really comes to life? (Maybe trade off some of the live demo for a little more middle?)
Wonderful grace under pressure with the live demo though, working or not you handled that well.
This was a great explanation. I really appreciated the clarity of the examples and there was just enough levity in the presentation style to make a potentially dry topic quite lively.
Event sourcing was completely new to me, and John did a fantastic job introducing the language and concepts to give me an understanding of what it is, and why I would want to do it. The presentation did a great job presenting the information in different ways for people who may have different learning styles. There were also a lot of great questions and discussion after the talk which also helped with my understanding.
Excellent talk. The information presented was useful. The presentation itself was exceptionally clear and well put together. I liked that it was practical and will be easy to take away what I learned and use in my project.
A total brain dump of all the cool things we can do with Ansible, including some great examples to get us started. This answered a lot of my questions and gave me the threads I need to pull to really get started.
This was a great talk with lots of actionable information. Laura is a strong speaker and very engaging. Her points were well illustrated in her own presentation.
Into-level material and has a few technical glitches, but strong presentation nonetheless, and pulling in audience participation helped with the infamous afternoon slot slump.
One nitpick: using Paw is a bit limiting audience-wise, even though it's a solid tool, both due to its Mac-only limitation and lack of a presentation mode. I believe Stoplight has some web-based tools that would work similarly without those limitations. Or Postman, but I'm guessing Stoplight would be a better fit due to their tighter API focus.
John is clearly knowledgeable in event sourcing and was able to answer any and all questions. I really enjoyed another take on audit logging that provides more benefits I never knew I would want.
Fantastic talk with great information.
