A terrific and engaging talk. Steve is an entertaining presenter and this coupled with practical actionable content, made for a excellent presentation.
The acoustics in the room didn't help the speaker (the mic should have been adjusted prior to the talk). However, the content was informative and the presentation itself was organized nicely.
Very helpful! Dana kept things fun and interesting while explaining everything thoroughly.
Decent setup/panel, though sad that MWOP couldn't make it. It wasn't clear whether any audience questions got asked though, and while Sli.do is a useful tool, the comment feed there ended up being a bit distracting.
Thanks for a great talk, Laura! It was super useful, and you really demonstrated the techniques that you taught. Thank you!
Well presented. A few slides had slight contrast issues thanks to the less than optimal projection setup, and audio was quiet for similar reasons, but those are venue issues rather than talk issues :)
Very nice hands-on training how to do testing. It didn't really bother me, that some stuff were laravel specific - there are always different tools tom achieve the similar things and for the bigger picture it doesn't really matter if its laravel or some other framework / toolbox that is used.
One thing for future improvement - it was a little hard to keep up with the coding from time-to-time, so I guess committing and pushing the code to repository more often would be very helpful.
Loved this. The whole theme made it so enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the bit about not intentionally creating zombies 🧟♀️ Some of the examples were hard to read in such a well lit room, but that’s so hard to anticipate.
Great theme, talk, visuals, hypothetical scenarios.
Made me realize my search and find might not be as sufficient as I thought and gave me tools to better find truly dead code. Definitely entertaining and worthwhile
