Really informative about the document store, how it integrates with the rest of MySQL, and how to use it.
This talk felt aimed at legacy code that didn't have a lot of security in place. Everything the speaker said was good advice. Maybe next time there could be some in-depth examples of how to find and fix potential exploits. Walking through the process of identifying a csrf vulnerability and the process of implementing a patch would be helpful. Trouble is, you need an example of legacy code, and that will look different for everyone.
Very much enjoyed the talk.
Super informative, I had no idea OpenWhisk nor the IBM cloud existed, and I never really looked into AWS Lambda “layers” after they announced it.
Also, I love light-on-dark colors in general, but especially on projectors.
The one thing I would try to change (it has its own problems) would be to add text to identify the textless logos. I feel like I missed a name or two.
There were a lot of good examples and suggestions. It was also helpful to be pointed at a few github projects to get started.
It's always interesting to learn from a voice of wisdom that comes from age and experience.
The second half of this talk, about what distinct categories of operations sodium provides and what subset of functions are related to that, is absolute gold. All of that should be in the PHP manual.
The first half, I knew already knew, so that wasn’t so engaging for me, but that’s probably just me.
Great talk, excellent presentation! Had a lot of info that will be valuable for my companies line of work in future.
Very well presented with great information
Great talk, very knowledgeable, you covered things that I will take back to my team that they can use even on new applications they are building.
It was a fascinating talk now I am interested in trying to integrate swoole for coroutine processing on things we do with our web product that could use a multi process type approach.
