Great, funny, inspiring workshop. Enjoyed every minute of it, also the overtime ;-)
Jeremy is very easy to listen too and makes some very valid points. Native apps have their uses, but often they should have been done as webapps instead.
Altough everything looks like "common sense" it's often easy to take the evil road unconsciously. Matt lays out a number of interesting anti-patterns. Good speaker, love to see more of him in the future.
Bonus point for shooting the host in the beginning. Though I hear he survived ;-)
What a setting! Good food, great place, very good tour... This was a great way to start the conference.
Nice selection of anti-patterns. Especially like the example with jamming all the UI in screen at once - as a developer that's quite a natural impulse. Did finish early, it would have been nice to have spent the full time providing some deeper detail. Engaging presenter though and I was scribbling down notes for later.
Excellent anti-pattern talk with a nice evil (??) overtone. Possibly a wee bit short but got some good pointers.
So... I was not expecting that at all. That boy has a serious voice. Different way to kick things off. Nice tone setting as well with the little chat about makers and creating experiences for users' everyday things. This whole thing is fun but it's got real consequences.
Good talk on designing iOS apps. Some great tips.
