WeCamp 2014

This event is a breakthrough concept for the PHP community IMO. No conference could ever hope to achieve the level of learning you get from this week of geek.

Everything was extremely well organized despite the additional problems they got themselves into by having WeCamp on an actual island.

The camping bit should not deter anyone, as you sleep on a real bed in a permanent tipi. Hot-water showers available, catered 3-course meals... the term "glamping" certainly applies!

I'd say I'm already saving for next year, but the price is so ridiculously low that I'm sure I can afford it.

Worth every penny!

What a week!

Fantastic organisation, great facilities and most importantly a lovely group of people to live & work with.

The evening events were a blast and were well chosen to help us wind-down after a hard day of programming as well as giving us an opportunity to get to know pretty much everyone on the island.

The catered evening meals blew me away - I had no idea that you could have food that delicious & well prepared on a tiny island.

Here's to wecamp15!

Epic event. Very well organized, no real issues with power or the internet connection. Everything went pretty smoothly. Thanks for letting me being part of it.
