I run the LibrePlan project. My biggest user is an oil company with offices in 30 countries. LibrePlan is a web-based project management application with very professional features. I have been managing this project for the past 5 years. In this talk I want to show you what LibrePlan is, why it’s so cool and how I kept the project alive. It is a talk about tech stuff, but also about moral dilemma’s. It’s a talk for newbies, but also for those with lots of open source development experience.

Really informative session. Was good to understand the story and drive behind Libre Plan.

Some very moving slides and a personal insight into Jeroens life and motivation. Really engaging presentation style too.

I wish Jeroen all the best moving forward and I am sure he's on to a winning team with Yannick (and Carston ) on board.

I look forward to seeing how it progresses.

I can assure Jeroen that when I say 'That was interesting' I really do mean it ... It's not a code for anything in this occasion.

I think a project with someone who has a passion and drive to move it forward will flourish irrespective of setbacks. Keep on going.

Best of luck with the Enterprise / subscription model.

Great talk. Jeroen is a ln amazing guy for a start. We had a personal story, some technical descriptions and a good bit of humour. Excellent stuff!

We often forget the amount of work in running a project. Nice balance of project life cycle chronology and the real world issues that have to be managed. Excellent.
