Thanks to all the excellent resources on server management many developers are now setting up and administrating their own servers. If you are one of them you can’t count on anybody else but yourself to backup the data of your clients.

We’ll cover the backup issues presented when using modern hosting such as Linode and DigitalOcean. Then we’ll review some enterprise grade solutions. Finally we’ll dive deep into implementing a backup system using Laravel 5’s filesystem abstraction.

An important topic I found the talk hard to follow due to the video quality and for a large part of the talk, the sound was too echoey to understand what was being said.

Having said that the information was useful.

You make it look just as easy as Jeffrey Way @ laracasts.com :-)

Backup is always a big part of my solution for customers, so this is a very welcome addition!

Some suggestions:
a) please improve sound quality (did you use a headset?)
b) please increase font size in PhpStorm for presentation (the recording seems aggressively commpressed, so the text is hardly readable)

I hope to see/hear more talks about your packages!
