Needed a bit more php focus but a good overview.
Good overview. Maybe practice the live demo next time, however funny it was :)
good overview, followable and usable examples, good slides, liked the interaction and pace of the talk
I'm totally sold on React.js as a result of this talk. Speaker dealt with the various technical onslaughts admirably.
Was enjoyable talk with a brave pair programming/live coding section. Gave a lot of things to think about when thinking about how to do you front end part of an application.
Great talk that kept me interested all the way through. It was nice to see how easy it is to incorporate react components into sites in bite size chunks. Justin is an awesome, nice and funny guy.
nice overview of React and how to get started. Talk was presented really well with the expected niggles of live coding in a hot room
I think the talk should probably be renamed "Writing Interactive User Interfaces with React.js" as PHP wasn't really involved but I went to see React in action so I wasn't disappointed.
Live coding (in any language) is always a tough thing to do, Justin did a fantastic job and explained how React fits into everything else in a technology stack really well.
I will look more into React.js following this talk. Live coding just added to the excitement and introduced an impromptu pair programming section.
Takes a brave person to live code. But pulled it off in the end and had some great advice on how to implement things gradually in an existing codebase.
It was a good talk, but seemed lacking in preparation
A topic that was pretty new to me and a very engaging speaker made this my favourite talk of the weekend.
Great job Justin.
