We are literally in the best industry in the world. Want proof? We create value by turning ones to zeros and vice versa. And almost all of us are incredibly passionate about programming and that creation of value. However, there’s a lot more to creating truly great software than passion and your favorite IDE. It’s about working well with in a team that is a high performing team that is at a company that gives them enough structure to keep them focused but doesn’t get in the way with the process. More of this is in your control than you might expect. We’ll talk about what you can do as an individual to lead through influence to create a high performing team and company culture.

A good keynote with good points about leadership that all of us can achieve.

Josh has a great speaking voice. I didn't even notice that the mic wasn't on when he had started speaking!

Love hearing Josh talk. He's very dynamic and engaging and has a way of communicating his points, even ones that can sometimes feel preachy, in a way that is not preachy. I think my favorite part/slide/quote is "You should make your best people managers #False"

Josh is part technologist, part motivational speaker, and all amazing.

This was an amazing talk, it was over before I wanted it to be.

I pity people that slept in instead of catching Josh's keynote. Fun and inspiring.

The parts about the triangle really resonated with my experiences working at places that sucked the passion out of what I was doing compared to the places that got into a positive feedback loop with my passion.

Josh ALWAYS owns the stage -- this talk was no exception. He delivered much truth and made excellent points. Everyone needs the leadership wisdom Josh shared.

Excellent speaker, very engaging. Shared very good insights about diversity, and how to leverage that for a large organization.

I enjoyed the covering of diversity during this talk and how it is more than just intrinsic. Definitely an excellent speaker and very motivational. I enjoyed his point on how promoting your best leaders to managers isn't always the best move.

Probably the best "meta" self-improvement talk that I've seen at this years conference. Nice job!
