Interesting concept, but kind of odd that the initial of goal of the speaker is to not have to install a web server of every designer / front ender's PC and ends up with a technique that still requires a server after all.
Technique is quite interesting a would be good for mocking up stuff, but I'm not sure how it'll hold up in production performance-wise, since DOM manipulation is quite expensive.
Speaker has a good presentation style. I liked listening to him.

Great concept. Really great way of making prototypes and just let the frontenders do what they do best.
