You've used Composer so many times now, but how deep is your understanding of your dependencies? Can you get yourself out of every tricky situation? This talk will cover a broad range of dependency management subjects: From assessing the risk, e.g. through BC breaks, introduced into your business critical code by third party software, all the way to hand-on tips for working with composer in the real world, e.g. what to do if composer.lock conflicts during a merge, when your colleagues and you modified dependencies in different ways.

Great and informative talk, very well presented. It covered a very wide range of issues and risks that we can encounter when we rely on any kind of dependencies in our everyday projects.

Useful information, week presented

A little hard to follow when you're short of caffeine

Learned some stuff I can use everyday.

Great talk!
Gets you thinking about the dependency environment on a whole new level

Very unusual dev topic: risk we all take each day without doing the proper investigations/management and why/how/what we should think/concentrate on when putting anything new into our app/system.

Speaker was really good, clear on the topics but slides had too much content on them (I'm suggesting splitting it into multiple slides not cutting down the content) so it was bit hard to follow.

Very good, some good ideas to apply in development. Great explanation on composer.lock, expand it a bit.

Realistic and full of good lessons about risks and dependencies, perfect answer to my question on libraries.

Nice talk with informative infos about composer and how to better use it
