Regular Expressions are one of the most powerful tools for every engineer in the IT industry. Though their reputation suffers from being misused or misunderstood, they still provide vast amounts of power coming from the theory behind them. In this talk, I will provide not only the necessary knowledge to understand how they work and what powers they bring to the table but I'll also explain some of the "arcane incantations", ie. some of the very powerful but hardly known RegEx constructs.

This talk made me aware of the fact that RegExes are even more powerful than I was using them for.
Great insight, useful examples,

Minor improvement: Give your audience some time to digest the examples before hitting the next slide, let it sink in.

I really like this talk. It was sure advanced and filled with content.
It was a very high tempo which I kind of like. But one have to review the slides later.

Speaker was a bit hard to follow sometimes. I think the talk would be a bit better to follow if Tomasz talked a little bit slower.
The explanations and examples are very clear and well highlighted. The overall talk was very interesting. I learned a lot.

Really great presentation. Tomasz showed many valuable regex examples, and for sure know this stuff well.

Great subject and learned several new things about regexes. I had trouble following the presentation as he was talking really fasts with no breaks, giving himself and us, no time to indulge the information properly. He did give the impression that he knows what he's talking about. Due to not being able to follow it properly and getting rushed through it, I only give a 3/5.

Very cool presentation and one of the most insightful I have seen at this conference. Great examples with clear explanation.

Great insight into the more obscure regex features, and the examples and pace were very good, too.

A truly advanced-level talk by a clearly very knowledgeable presenter.

I would suggest that there was too much content, and that it could be improved by providing fewer examples, but going into each of them in more detail.

I didn't know pcre had that many features.
