Interesting talk with nice metaphors from biology and clocks
While this is a topic that has been rehashed many times already, I thoroughly enjoyed the talk itself. The analogies used were refreshing and interesting, and the speaker radiated with enthusiasm which made the talk very lively and engaging.
Very enthusiastic speaker that knew what she was talking about. Shed some new light in some places and reassured me in other places. Thank you.
To me a great talk delivers just enough content and in a way that you can't look away, this talk did that. I have done OOP for ages and have thought about these same metaphors, it was very well put together and the talk style and energy on stage we fabulous. Well done!
I loved the energy that Anjana brought to the stage. The historic take on OOP was very interesting and I liked the biological metaphor a lot. Anjana both communicated genuine enthusiasm and a very clear story on the essence of OOP.
Anjana is a very clear and crisp speaker! Slides were nicely and the metaphors used were really interesting! I can't believe she is just programming professionally for six months!
Very interesting stuff!
It's just a 5 star talk because of the way it was delivered. Anjana really binds the audience from beginning to end. I did not learn anything new but I can see this type of talk as very valuable because every year there are so many people introduced to programming.
Nice overview of the history, and speaker had a spot on delivery.
Brilliant speaker, fascinating topic
