Fair amount of slide reading. Presenter tended to babble a little. Terminology was sporadically used that may or may not have been familiar to the audience (e.g. immutability) with little explanation. Some visuals were complex and not easily consumable at a glance. Presentation of the content seemed a bit dry at times. Was what it said on the tin, though I admittedly would have preferred a talk focused on CQRS/ES aspects with practical examples.
For a high level talk this contained a lot of terminology that wasn't explained - perhaps too much knowledge was assumed. For example, I'm still none the wise as to what a "Bounded context" is. Maybe covering fewer topics and spending a bit more time explaining details and showing some proper examples would be useful.
Excellent coverage and especially indication of how closely related the design concepts.
Should highlight in the abstract that this is a very high level talk and what previous knowlwgde is assumed.
I agree it was a very informative talk, and I enjoyed it. However, I would agree (with other comments) that too much knowledge was assumed hence not full stars! Thank you! :)
I think it was one of the best presentations in the conference. A lot of aspects were touched. Of course now everyone needs to extend a knowledge on its own (of course if you want to be cool kids) ;)
Some good practical points about not being too keen to jump on the latest cool thing which I think a lot of people could learn from. It was great to have a bit of a recap of some of the different development methodologies/techniques, all to easy to forget about them when they aren't the ones you're using!
A high level overview of some cool topics that are becoming more and more popular in the PHP world. Worth to see if you're not familiar with these yet.
I was really looking forward to hearing this talk and I don't feel disappointed! Matthias did a great job in explaining how all these fascinating topics can be glued together. I agree that it may have felt too overwhelming to someone, but I guess Matthias's goal was to show that there're those fascinating topics, what they're in brief and encourage speakers who haven't known them yet to learn more about them.
The dry subject matter was helped by an obviously well informed speaker but lacked tangible, real world examples; even without code a less abstract presentation would have been a huge help.
Felt like the subject matter had depth but we were only given a glancing overview. I'd prefer a talk more focused on one or two of the subjects as trying to take on so many left me feeling a bit lost even when I was already using several of the techniques.
One of my favourite talks. It's really interesting how some software techniques have stood the test of time and have been applied to many tools and languages. My big take away was its much more valuable to learn these principles and practices that can be applied to many technologies and business domains, rather than the coolest framework/tool/language. All the topics covered are very interesting and large themselves, I think the topic of the talk would be better suited as an ENTIRE two day conference, with more scope for workshops and not an hour long talk! I'd definitely attend though if you do make it into a conference ;)
I struggled to keep pace with this one as mentioned in other comments prior knowledge of terminology was required, but with that being said it has inspired me to dig a little deeper into the subject.
Had high hopes for this. Started well. Got the audience laughing early, but gradually the talk became less accessible (lots of slide info that was hard to read, couldn't really hear the talking). Lots focus and interest during the talk and as a result didn't really feel like I took anything away from it.

Very useful talk. Some of the slides went by a little fast, but that could have been just the post lunch 2nd day haze.
