Great talk. With some good fun. The build up was great and easy to follow. Also very strong to show the downsides of the technologies. It got me informed and excited about these technologies. The crowd participation slide felt a bit negative with the whole "trust nothing" conclusion. Maybe add something to counter that negativity? like sharing a heavily moderated rdf source?

All in all a great talk. Thank you for giving it and sharing your knowledge.

I loved the talk. I also loved the examples you gave about Donald Trump and CakePHP, It made it fun and interesting. No one likes a boring powerpoint without some fun in it.

Personally, the talk was valuable to me because I work as a developer in a Data-Centric company and it was nice to get a proper explanation for all the buzzwords which I usually hear in the office like RDF/Ontologies, Triples, etc.

As a point of improvement, I think it will be nice to point out more practical ways in which the Semantic Web technology can be used in our everyday life
