I did not like Kuba's approach: it was mostly telling you what to do instead of why.
Most of the presentation tried to rewrite a simple loop with 4-5 functions, in my humble opinion there are more interesting aspects of using Javascript as a functional language that are NOT sum of numbers.
It would be much more interesting to have less code but many examples of when functional programming saves your life instead of imperative programming (code re-use and real word implications)
TLDR: I'm an enthusiast of functional programming but I was almost asleep during tthe talk

il talk di Cirillo è stato interessante e pieno di spunti di riflessione. Come Sempre.
Argomento molto interessante ma complesso, serve molto più tempo per approfondirlo ma il valore aggiunto che porta in certi contesti è veramente incredibile. Ottimo talk.
Inspiring
Personalmente credo sia stato il talk più interessante a cui ho assistito, nonostante un problema iniziale con il pc dello speaker che credo lo abbia costretto ad usare una presentazione diversa da quella che aveva preparato. Ho imparato qualcosa su un tema molto dibattuto ma poco noto ai più.
livello "advanced" non dichiarato. non sfruttabile da chi non abbia già conoscenze sull'argomento. si intuisce che questo approccio è sensato solo per domini applicativi complessi, ma non si fanno esempi concreti.
la consistenza eventuale, che secondo me è una premessa, è stata nominata solo marginalmente.
Purtroppo innegabile che In Real Life qui e oggi spesso bisogna arrangiarsi per portare a casa il risultato.
Grazie a questo talk la curiosità e la voglia di abbracciare questo linguaggio è aumentata esponenzialmente: well done!
