Always a pleasure to hear Erik present. He often covers topical issues that are commonly faced by most of us. The adoption of composer within Drupal has yet to settle down and find a comfortable place in our traditional work flow. This presentation provided a great summery of the options.
Thumbs up for this presentation. It handy when someone goes through an issue you face yourself and provides a clear summary of how they came to the solution they did.
Really enjoyed this guide through the request response lifecycle. Deji made a potentially dry subject really fun to follow and it would be a great intro for anyone familiar with a Drupal 7 taking on Drupal 8.
A remarkable presentation, amusing and inspiring. Enjoyed it immensely.
I struggled to understand task runners like gulp. This was a useful talk that explained what it's all about and when it is pertinent to projects I am involded with.
This was an inspiring talk, it exceeded my expectations. The opposite of the suggestions from the talk adequately explained all the things wrong I have experienced in working in some agencies.
The advice was mostly really good and I disagreed with very little of it.
A good talk, well delivered and highly useful.
A great talk which covered all the issues relating to website security and drupal.
Composer is confusing, even if, like me you have read all the composer documentation, using it with the drupal 8 can be really confusing. It still needs better documentation and to be more stable and it needs it's own issue queue on drupal.org. The talk covered many of the bases, one aspect it missed is excusable because it would really confuse the unwary.
I only caught half of the talk due to travel issues, but learnt an awful lot and most importantly the talk was referenced a few times in other sessions, so it clearly hit the nail on the head.
A great keynote. In hindsight I felt it set the tone for the rest of the day (for me anyway) and it was interesting to hear about the dynamic in the CWG and Emma's own experiences of getting to grips with contributing to an Open Source community such as Drupal.
Some good tips for newbies and good to hear there's more of this sort of thing being rolled into future DrupalCons.
