Really entertaining and informative talk about FastCGI and not killing the chef that is PHP.
At first, I didn't know where you were going with this and lost me for a bit. Though, ended really well and insightful.
Just awesome! Would've loved to see some of that fanmail...
When are we, as a community, going to build this graph-based value system 'resume' / social networking tool? I'd love to help out. ;)
Interesting topic, but the talk really wasn't what I expected it to be. It was more on the 'how' and 'what' and not much on the 'why'. So, I couldn't really learn from it. And because it was more about workflow / process, the coding examples were only a distraction. You might be able to improve it by visualizing the workflow.
And I can imagine why, as you said during your talk, you got into a heated discussion with another speaker. ;)
Great first talk. Was really interesting to hear things from a 'junior developer' point of view.
You might be able to expand upon this with your opinion on how we might be able to improve resources (eg. documentation) and/or be better teachers.
Brilliant. Stupidity. Men, that was cool
I found the topic interesting and relevant, and I thought the presentation was brought with a good sense of humour and honesty. I was happy about how the questions of the public were answered as well. However, before and after the talk you expressed some insecurity about the quality, which was unnecessary. Overall the talk felt personal and easy to follow. Thanks!
Great talk on fostering more communication and inclusion of diverse roles within your development team, including customer feedback. During your talk I felt you had even more to share, which proved to be true when we talked lots more afterwards. I think the talk would shine even more if you include some of that too, but it was great nonetheless!
Nice overview of how you ended up building your own deployment tool and what sets it apart from others. Although some of it was now prompted by questions during/after the talk: maybe those are good points to include in your talk preemptively! Since we worked together during the speaker workshop, I couldn't help but notice some hand fidgeting and laptop glancing: maybe a presentation clicker would help there? But otherwise your delivery was calm and collected, you knew your stuff, so good job!
Very entertaining talk. Although, I didn't like the spoiler about this thing called 'Rubik's cube'. ;)
Sorry I didn't have time to talk to you about me raising my hand and not think about a debugging moment. Hopefully some other time.
